62nd Annual Meeting of NJAS

(depends on selected options)

Base fee:
  • Undergraduate and graduate students only
  • family members a high school student who is presenting at the meeting
  • non-member HS students
  • High School students with paid NJAS membership
  • any person, other than a high student, that is not an NJAS member
  • All faculty (including High school teachers), postdocs, industry scientists, and other professionals
  • If you are volunteering to judge presentations/posters and are not presenting your own research at the meeting, please choose this registration type.

The New Jersey Academy of Science 62nd Annual Meeting will be held on May 6th, 2017 at Kean University (STEM Building).

The meeting will include poster presentations from the NJAS Senior Academy and 10 minute oral presentations from Junior Academy as well as a keynote speaker.  

In an effort to make it possible for Jr. Academy members to participate we are altering the schedule from the traditional early start. Below is the schedule. Also, due to the conflicts associated with this date, we are waiving the requirement that Grants in Aid winners be present to receive their award.

Registration 9:30am- 11:30

Opening remarks 10:15

Sr. Academy Posters from 10:30—11:30 am

Jr Academy talks from 11:30-2:00

Lunch 2:00-3:00

Speaker/no speaker 3-4

Awards   4:00

In order to present at the meeting you must be an active dues paid NJAS member and you must submit an abstract electronically in MSWord format njasweb@gmail.com by no later than 12 noon April 30th, 2017.   For abstract formatting guidelines, please review the Abstract Format Guidelines for Presentations 

Please log-in as a member to receive discounted member rates.  If you are not a current dues paid member, please consider joining NJAS first before preceding with meeting registration.   If you have any questions or problems with meeting registration, please email NJASweb@gmail.com.
