71st NJAS Annual Meeting Registration

Registration

  • If you would to recruit stellar STEM candidates
    - this is the right place for you!. Academic
    institutions can showcase their research, new
    academic programs offered, or recruit interns
    for your projects, $60 for a table at the annual meeting and Logo
    Showcase on the NJAS website.
  • Anyone attending meeting but not presenting or part of the vendor show.
  • All purchases are final
  • This choice is for students whose school is sending a group payment for conference registration via PO, mail or etc. Groups must be chaperoned. Fee/student is $50.00. All other students, paying individually, must choose the other icon. All students must register by February 11, 2026.

    If your school payment is not received by March 27, 2026, You will not be permitted to participate in the 71st NJAS annual meeting activities.
  • All students presenting their research (Junior Academy) must pay to register as follows: NJAS membership dues, conference fee and lunch ($50) by 2/11/2026..
  • Individuals assisting the NJAS event by 2/11/2026.
  • If you would like to recruit stellar STEM candidates or inform about state and federal programs
    for STEM organizations, businesses and individuals, please join us. $60 for a table, and Logo showcase in the NJAS website and agenda.
  • If you offer a product that would benefit
    research in areas of STEM or the general public, then you need to be here! $100 for a table and Logo showcase in the NJAS website, a chance to reach the NJ STEM leaders of today & tomorrow
  • This choice is for senior Academy - Undergraduate, Graduate and Faculty presentators that ARE serving as judges ($25 membership only). Must register to judge through link found on NJAS website.
  • This choice is for senior Academy - Undergraduate, Graduate and Faculty presentations that are NOT serving as judges
  • This choice is for students whose school is sending a group payment for conference registration via PO, mail or etc. ONLY - All other students must choose one of the other icons. If also acting as judge, you must ALSO submit through judge link on website by 3/2/2026.

    If your school payment is not received by March 27, 2026, you will not be permitted to participate in the 71st NJAS annual meeting activities.

 71st NJ Academy of Science Annual Meeting

The 71st New Jersey Academy of Science Annual Meeting will be held in person on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm at Kean University,  STEM Building, 1075 Morris Ave., Union, NJ.  07083

Description for initial registration:
Due to the high number of high school registrants, the Junior Academy Registration deadline is February 11, 2026 and the Abstract deadline is March 11, 2026.  Other "registration type" deadlines are noted below.

Independent research projects, as well as team projects of no more than 3 members, are eligible.  All team members must register and pay separately.  Fee to participate includes: NJAS membership dues, conference fee and lunch (exact fee depending on your Registration Type). 

Students will present to STEM professionals from industry and academia. Presentation format is as follows:  Junior Academy (high school) Tri-fold Poster presentation.  Senior Academy (10 minutes) PPT presentation.  Abstract submission format included in email subsequent to registration.  

We are happy to announce once again that we will be hosting sessions simultaneously to address various scientific interests, for example there will be Professional Development seminars, hands on activites, as well as a vendor show.  

This event is a collegial meeting of the New Jersey STEM community including scientists, science faculty members, students and other community members from across the state. We hope you will find this meeting an opportunity to share your research, discover new possibilities and interact with fellow attendees.

Please follow the following deadlines:

  • Junior Academy Presenter (high school) registration deadline is  February 11,  2026. Once you are registered, you will received a link to submit your abstract (Due March 11, 2026).  
  • Senior Academy Presenter registration deadline is March 27, 2026. Once you are registered, you will received a link to submit your abstract.
  • Senior Academy Presenter also acting a Judge (reduced fee). Registration deadline is March 2, 2026.  Once you are registered, you will received a link to submit your abstract.  You must also register to judge by March 2, 2026.
  • Vendor Show registrants please submit registration by  March 27, 2026
  • General Admission guests - please submit registration by March 27, 2026, Please be advised that if you register by March 27, 2026 you will secure food availability. After this date you will only secure your attendance to the event.
  • VIP Guests  (high school Chaperones and Speakers) and NJAS Ambassadors must register by February 11, 2026
